Activity II – Speech Writing
Imagine that you are addressing Class X students before their exams. Prepare a motivational speech based on Dr Kalam’s message:
Dear Friends,
Good morning! I know you are preparing for your public exams. I want to remind you, just like Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam did, that you are all born with potential.
Don’t fear failure. Every great person failed before they succeeded. You must dream big, believe in yourself, and be ready to work hard.
Be a unique YOU, not a copy of someone else. Never give up — because you have wings, and you are meant to fly!
All the best for your exams. Fly high and make your dreams come true!
Activity III – Email Writing
Imagine you are writing to a friend abroad after reading Dr. Kalam’s message.
To: myfriend@email.com
Subject: Inspired by Dr. Kalam’s Speech – “I Will Fly”
Hi [Friend’s Name],
Hope you’re doing well! I recently read a speech by Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, and I found it truly inspiring. He said that every youth is born with wings and must fly high with confidence.
There was a boy who was scared and unsure of himself, but Dr. Kalam encouraged him through a poem called “I Will Fly.” It made me realise that we should never fear the future.
We must aim high, believe in ourselves, and work hard for our dreams. I’m more motivated than ever to chase my goals and stay confident.
Let’s continue to support each other in our journeys.
Take care,
